DIY - Hearts garland

I made this hearts garland for a familymember, as a 'thank you' gift. It's easy to make with any kind of paper:

1. Cut out a heartshape (fold the paper in two and cut half a heart for a symmetric one) out of cardboard. This is your template for the rest of the garland.

 

2. Cut out multiple hearts out of music sheets or other paper.

3. Sew the hearts together under the sewing machine.

4. Give it to someone you love :)

I've recently scored this vintage cardigan at 'Marktplaats' (an Dutch site, similar to eBay). I found the swallow brooch at our local thrift store. The necklace is a 'buy one, get one free' buy from Pieces, an accessoires store.

Black Swan

I found this posters a while ago via Trendland.net. They're designed by LaBoca. I love the design, it's very modern but at the same time old looking. Timeless I guess.

I did a schoolproject last year, about Russian Constructivism. And, just like Trendland, these posters remind me of this art movement. Black Swan is in theatres now (since last week in the Netherlands), I didn't see it yet but I'm going to this friday. Of course I'm very curious!
