Feel better

I've been ill during the weekend, and I'm still stuck to the couch, with this stupid flu. Thankfully I found this cute book at our local thrift store, last week. It's inspiring and it makes me feel a little bit better.

On the pictures you see the dutch version of the Sophie Dahl book The Man with the Dancing Eyes. The lovely illustrations are by Anne Morris.

It's a wonderful book (not very new, cause from 2003),so go check it out!

Combing the beach

This weekend I went to the island Texel with my boyfriend, to see his family. It was a wonderful weekend, we had so much fun strolling up and down the beach. I took these pictures during the walk. Of course, we had a lovely break from the wind and cold, sitting down with hot chocolate (and whipped cream on top!) at a local restaurant.

After this, monday's hard! :)

Remember the winter?

Misschien is het iets van onze cultuur, maar iedereen om me heen heeft het telkens over hoe het "alweer bijna lente is". Maar tot een paar weken geleden zagen de huizen er nog zo uit... Weet je nog?

Maybe it's a cultural thing, but everyone around me keeps talking about how "It's almost spring!" But untill a few weeks ago the houses looked like this... Remember this?

Ik heb maandag dan eindelijk de film 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium' gezien. En hij is geweldig! Zo blij, maar toch triest en bovenal een fantastische, tot leven gekomen kinderfantasie. Loved it! :)

I finally saw the movie 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium', last monday. It is great! It's happy, a little bit sad, but most of all a wonderful child's fantasy come to life! Loved it! :)
